Dr. Kunka Petkova

Advisor at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Germany

Dr. Kunka Petkova works as an advisor at the German Ministry of Finance,
where - as the main German delegate - she is in charge of the biggest
international tax reform in the last 100 years. She is also responsible
for all fiscal-related topics discussed at the G-7 and G-20 meetings.

Dr. Kunka Petkova completed her PhD degree in International Business
Taxation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the
University of California, Berkeley, and the Saïd Business School,
University of Oxford. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of
Mannheim, Germany, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in
Business Administration, and completed her Master of Science in
International Economics and Economic Policy at the Goethe University in
Frankfurt.

Before joining the German Ministry of Finance, Dr. Kunka Petkova worked as
a research assistant in some of the world's largest institutes in the
field of international tax law. Along with this, she gained experience in
the private sector - in the strategic department of the largest bank in
Germany and in the Big four.

In her free time, Dr. Kunka Petkova pursues her academic passion and works
on various articles and papers in the field of fiscal policy and
international taxation, which she presents at big international
conferences.
