Irena Komitova is a management, marketing, human resources, consulting, and sales expert. She is actively involved in PR, event marketing, advertising, publishing, training, and coaching. She holds a Master's in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, USA.

She is the recipient of the "Woman Manager of the Year (1996) in Bulgaria" award and the "Global Leader for Tomorrow" award from the World Economic Forum in Davos for the year 2000. She has served as the Executive Director of Oriflame Bulgaria, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Allianz Bulgaria Holding, Executive Director of BMW importer Kamor Auto, and Director on the Black Sea Property Fund board. 

Currently, she is a member of the Supervisory Board of Orgachim, Managing Partner of AMC Ltd., publisher of PREMIUM Lifestyle magazine, representative of The Economist Group in Bulgaria, and organizer of TEDxVitosha events.
